Officer Peter Dahlman prevented an employee from losing $5,000 in a dating scam. The scammer's story involved her being held without her passport and needing the money sent to her in Nigeria. Officer was able to inform employee that it was a scam, which saved the employee from losing the money in this all-too common scam.

PSO Gwendolyn Williams observed a patient attempting to leave MD Anderson and flagged down Officer Eliseo Alvarado for assistance. Alvarado was able to speak to the patient, who subsequently agreed to return to his room.

Senior PSO Armando Viscarri was approached by concerned family members about their missing family member, an MD Anderson patient. Viscarri called in the report and Officer Victoria Gonzales and Sergeant Jason Kingston responded and meet with the family to get more information. The patient was subsequently seen at a nearby parking lot and reunited with family.

Officer Khanh Phoung-Ngo observed a driver passed out at the wheel of a vehicle at the intersection of Braeswood Blvd. and Moursund Street. Phoung-Ngo observed open alcohol containers in the vehicle and arrested driver for suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated. The suspect was taken to the Harris County Joint Processing Center (JPC) where the driver failed a breathalyzer test.
