While one patrol, Sergeant Carla Goerig noticed an individual in a wheelchair who seemed to be in physical and emotional distress outside of the UTHealth Harris County Psychiatric Center. Goerig approached the individual noticing he was shoeless and had his belongings scattered on the ground. Goerig and Public Safety Officer Armando Viscarri helped gather the man's belongings and safely assisted the individual back into the building.

Public Safety Officer Joseph Kennedy noticed an individual sleeping on a couch inside Mays Clinic. Knowing of a suspicious person being reported in the garage, Kennedy approached the individual who alleged to be a patient at MD Anderson. Kennedy confirmed with MD Anderson staff that the individual was not a patient and notified officers that he had possibly located the suspicious person and escorted him out to police custody. Officers issued a criminal trespassing warning, checked for warrants and made an arrest.

Public Safety Officer Lawana Gboyega recognized an individual who is known to the police department as a person who solicits money from patients and their families. The individual sits in waiting areas pretending to be on the phone and loudly discusses financial issues in an effort to gain sympathy from generous individuals. With Gboyega's great attention to detail in remembering a past photo of the individual, she was able to identify him even while he was wearing a face mask inside the building. Officer Peter Dahlman responded, issued a criminal trespassing warning and made an arrest. Investigators continue to work with the District Attorney's office to keep the individual off campus.

Officers Khanh Phuong-Ngo and Devante James responded to a call of a car fire on the first floor of Texas Medical Center Garage 17 near Pickens Tower. When the officers arrived, they spotted a vehicle with flames emitting from underneath the closed hood. Phuong-Ngo and James quickly grabbed the fire extinguishers from their patrol vehicles and sprayed the hood of the car to prevent the fire from spreading. The Houston Fire Department arrived and cut open the hood of the vehicle to fully extinguish the fire. Damage was limited to the vehicle itself.
