The University of Texas Police at Houston is partnering with UT Housing this October to host a Safety Forum to address residents’ security concerns. All UT Housing residents and their families are invited to join the conversation scheduled on Tuesday, October 1 at 7:00 p.m. at the UTHealth Children’s Development Center Clubhouse located at 7900 Cambridge St.
The Forum came about at the suggestion of UT Housing residents who raised concerns about the safety and security of where they live. It will follow National Night Out, an annual community-building initiative that promotes police-community partnerships.
Attendees will receive a brief overview of UT Police functions followed by a general safety presentation and conclude with a question and answer period. Throughout the event there will be opportunities to address security concerns in the area and attendees will learn how to participate in their safety.
For more information on the Safety Forum, please contact UT Police Community Outreach at (713) 563-7794 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
