Wiley Smith, Award of Excellence
Sgt. Wiley Smith has dedicated over three decades of service to UT Police. For the past 13 years, Smith has been assigned to the Smithville-Bastrop team, a remote campus 150 miles outside of Houston, overseeing the planning, coordination and execution of security services for local events. For each event, Smith is responsible for the creation of detailed risk assessment and incident action plans outlining traffic flow and security placement ensures attendee and spectator safety.
