A Season of Giving: UT Police Spreads Cheer Through Annual Toy Drive
November 25, 2025 By: Sherneka Cagle
UT Police is once again spreading holiday cheer through its Annual Toy Drive benefiting pediatric patients of UTHealth Houston’s Dunn Behavioral Sciences Campus and UT Housing residents. Continuing a tradition of generosity that spans more than 20 years, this year’s toy drive began November 17 and will continue through December 16.
Community members are encouraged to donate new, unopened, and unwrapped toys suitable for children ages 10-17. To ensure safety and suitability, items containing batteries, antennas, or any sharp objects (like pencil sharpeners) will not be distributed.
Donation boxes are conveniently located in the lobbies of these UTHealth Houston facilities:
- Biomolecular Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
- Cizik School of Nursing (SON)
- Institute of Molecular Medicine (IMM)
- McGovern Medical School (MED) – LRC Lobby
- The Recreation Center
- School of Public Health (SPH)
In addition, donation boxes can be found on specific floors within the following buildings:
- UT Professional Building – 11th Floor
- School of Dentistry (SOD) – 5330
- Operations Center Building – Rio Grande Room
- University Center Tower – Near security station
MD Anderson and UTHealth Houston workforce members are welcome to deliver their donations to any of the above locations or directly to UT Police Headquarters, located at 7777 Knight Road, Houston, Texas, 77054. Please note that this gift drive is not open to the public.
Through the Annual Toy Drive, UT Police continues its long-standing commitment to serving the community with compassion-one gift, one smile, and one child at a time.
