Award Ceremony Recognizes Exemplary Employees
December 07, 2020
During the University of Texas Police at Houston's (UT Police) Nov. 18 virtual town hall meeting, Chief William Adcox recognized employees who were honored with individual UT System Office of the Director of Police awards for their exemplary performance during the past year.
The presentation marked the second of three virtual award presentations organized in place of the 2020 Promotions and Awards Ceremony, which is traditionally held during National Police Week in May. All nominations are reviewed and recommended by a peer committee and are approved by both the UT Police Chief of Police and the UT System Director of Police.
