The public is invited to submit comments regarding the University of Texas Police at Houston’s compliance with CALEA® standards, engagement with the community, delivery of public safety services, and overall candidacy for accredited status.

Comments may include commendations or concerns. The goal of the accreditation process is to provide the agency with meaningful feedback that supports continuous improvement and reinforces a commitment to professional excellence. Community feedback plays an important role in maintaining transparency and accountability throughout the accreditation process.

CALEA® Accreditation Public Comment Portal

Important: CALEA® is not an investigatory body, and the public comment portal should be used to report incidents or submit information for investigative purposes. Submissions will be acknowledged; however, individual responses will not be provided. All feedback will be reviewed in the context of its relevance to CALEA® standards and the principles of accreditation.
